Ok i experimented with new foods expanding freds diets and his personality is really starting to show. He loves food! I gave him a carrot (Shredded but long) it was a 1 1/2 inch piece shredded. He attacked as if it were a fish (Although it did) but he never lost interest. But it did leave a HUGE mess in his tank. Is there an easier way to feed him the carrots? Hes only 2 months old.

The mess was from the carrots? They don't normally leave a mess, but I guess you can just net out whats left.

Try very thin carrot peels. Don't put too many in the tank.

I used to use a cheese grater, but now I like to use a potato peeler and shred thin strips that I break into little pellet-sized bites.
Bowser loves carrots so much!

lucky....cody wont touch any veggies....I started trying again last night. He's such a picky eater. I've also started to try to feed him out of his tank in a container of water, he looked at me like [!!!] is this thing
