Carnivorious rosey reds???

Ok i have 7 RR in the tank with Fred. While i was feeding him some turkey there were long strands of turkey littered around the tank. The fish all went around eating the bits. Does this seem odd?

I have rosey reds in my pond and they eat mosquito larvae and bugs in the pond. The fish food that they eat contains shrimp and other goodies so they do eat meat. Rosey reds are interesting fish to watch and breed and see them with their babies, so cute!

Fish will eat anything they can fit in there mouth. Big fish can eat full grown rats LIVE. If a fish dies in a tank and you leave it the other fish will pick it clean.
