So after experimenting, and finding bite marks in the iceberg lettuce, i decided to put some more nutritious lettuces in the veggie clip. Came home and saw it almost all gone! I'm so happy I got Chang acclimated to lettuces at such a young age. Hes still a hatchling!

Also, I went to the petstore and found mini clips with a small hole on the back. I bought em, took them home and found some suction cups laying around that fit perfecly. So now I have 5 more veggie clips for only 1 dollar. Score!

Todays a great day. Next time I decide to raise a baby turtle, I'm buying a baby book to record his firsts. hahaha.

You can try green leaf lettuce and dandelion greens too.

I'm gonna try a whole lot of different veggies. Get him acclimated to everything early.

Those are gonna rust. Veggie clips typically use plastic springs.

Well we have the spring part above the water and the veggies hanging at near the surface. Water may still splash up there, but I'm guessing it will take longer to rust.

Those clips also tend to break easier, I'd go for the veggie clips. They're only 2-3 dollars and a bit stronger. (Sorry :()
