Feeding a turtle the occasional snail?

I have a planted tank that is about to be overrun with ramshorn snails. Do snails make good turtle treats? The shells see pretty thin...

Yea, I think a lot of people have used them as feeders.

Thanks steve! I guess I could have done a search...but I haven't asked a silly question for a while. I guess I was due for one haha!

My turtle loves them and tears his tank apart looking for them.

I have large snails - mystery snails, Brixie can't eat them. She will kinda gnaw at the shell and then give up.
