Hello~ I want to give my turtles dandelion leaves but I can't find them where I live. Are dried ones okay to eat?

I'd only use the ones that are grown specifically for food or harvested from a source where you know no fertilizers or chemicals are used. Do not give them dandelions growing on your lawn. Chances are they have picked up chemicals from your soil.

I was also wondering that can I give my turtle dried leaves.
Now I know that I can as long as they are harvested from a source where know fertilizers or chemicals are used.
But how about nutritional value? Will there be any loss if I dried them?
This is such a good idea for the winter.
Oh and right now is the best time to collect dandelion seeds :)

Yes, I would imagine they loose a significant amount of their nutrition when dried.
