Hi, we feed our 3 year old red eared slider (Franklin) outside of the tank. He doesn't seem to like to eat lettuce, or other greens outside of the tank, so we feed it to him in his tank. In order to not make a mess in the tank, we give him individual small pieces, one at a time. He is getting bigger and he sometimes bites our finger when eating the lettuce. I have been looking at tongs/tweezers online, but am concerned that he may accidentally bite the tweezers and hurt his mouth. Does anybody have any suggestions on a brand of tweezers/tongs that may be safe for red eared sliders? Or maybe another method that won't make a mess in the tank? Thank you!
