I was reading Melissa Kaplan's suggested plants for turtles, and there were a few aquatic plant species that aren't on the list for RES.com. I am wondering if these are okay, or not good for the turtles.
Arrowhead (Sagittaria sublata)
Canadian Pondweed (Elodea canadensis) Anacharis?
Common Eel Grass (Vallisneria spiralis)
Crystalwort (Riccia fluitans)
Hair Grass (Eleocharis acicularis)
Java Fern (Microsorium pteropus)
Java Moss (Vesicularia dubyana)
Water Trumpet (Cryptocoryne ciliata, C. nevillii)

Eel grass is good (Ralph's fav), and I think I've read on this site about people feeding them arrowhead. Not sure about the rest, but do a google search for that name and "turtle". If it comes up several times, (and they all say it's ok to feed it to them) Then I think it should be fine.

Most aquatic plants are good for turtles.. I can't think of any that aren't. Usually if it's safe for an aquarium .. it's safe for your turtle.
