I thought I'd post here instead of the Indoor section.. But anyways, I was thinking. What If I buy bitter plants or ones that doesnt taste good so my turtle wont eat it. Or they'll still munch on that?

Turtles tastes may not be the same as ours. What tastes bad to us might taste good to them. The biggest thing to watch out for are plants that may be harmful to the turtles. There are definite poisonous plants that you want to stay away from but there are others that may be high in oxalic acids which could be unhealthy if too much is eaten. If you stick with aquatic plants from the pet stores you should be okay. It sounds like the Wort family of plants are safe around turtles, like hornwort.

Oh, yea. I'm aware of the fact our taste is different. I'll just start trying plants out.. See which ones he doesnt eat often.

I find that even if the veggies I buy are a little bitter, Sheba still eats them anyway. I just don't feed her anything that is rotting.
