I had to leave the house for a few days I had someone go and feed him while I was gone. I came back and his tank was awful most his water was gone and he was under his rocks was barley moving took him out and he is swollen awe my poor baby I know not to trust people with my pets now. His tank was smelling he was covered in what I think is salmonella I took him a bath clean his tank replaced water and he's was just fine after that but I don't know what to do about him being swollen umm it could be from when his tank was nasty or possible he wasn't getting fed he's also shedding but in some parts it looks like he's shedding red like it may be blood I really don't know and he does have red spots on his arms he's bout I would say a few months old he's still small his tank is not that's big it was a 40 dollar tank on Amazon a plastic one also the filiteration seemed to stop working I need help trying to figure out what I need for him to get better and what do I need for a baby snapping turtles environment....I found him in the middle of the road he's never snapped at me he would crawl on my chest he's such a sweet heart and yes this is my first turtle I have had him for going on 2 months and I'm willing to put in the work for him I just need to know how as well.

Do you have any pictures of his condition? At this point, it might be better to take him to a vet for a check up and evaluation.
