Up until today I've been using an aquarium safe normal thermometer that suction cupped inside the tank. At one point it told me that the basking temp was 110 degrees!! Today, I went out and bought an acurate digital thermometer and it told me the temp was only 84!! Thank god I bought it. Although Leo has been basking, he usually basks for around 2 or 3 hours, and I wasn't sure if that was normal, so maybe the low temp is one of the problems! lol

Which brand of digital thermometer did you buy? (It's still possible for a turt to bask at 84, some turts don't need to have higher heat.)
