So Kingler is my F RES who is still alive. I had a nother turtle, Killer( I was like 7 when I named him) who I bought at the same time. He was killed a couple years ago after a Racoon Attack. So I never founf out what type of turtle he was, so give me some help.

One is definetly a RES. Other looks to me a hybrid of RES/cooter or RES/YBS

Hm...he doesn't look exactly like my YBS. Then again, mine is only about 2 inches. Do you have any pictures of his plastron?

cumberlands are very close to RES. they have a yellow or orange stripe instead of red.

Wow, that's quite close. But Killer also quite resembled a RES. So probably a cross of a Cumberland/RES.

Is that Rare?

Ok, well I guess I'll never find out the Mysterey of the late Killer. But I at least narrowed it down.
