As you know, I recieved a Belize and Nicaraguan SLider yesterday. at around 7:30 PM, the Nicaraguan climbed on the rock and fell as sleep. It is now 7:00 AM and the turtle hasn't moved. I know he's alive because I picked him up and he moved a bit.

Water Temp. is 79 Degrees. He ate yesterday too.

What should I do?

Does he respond to you when you walk by or do you have to nudge him to wake him up? How big is he? Usually new turtles are scared and never bask in front of people. I'm a little worried that he's so brazen.

Is he the one covered in that thick algae as well?

Frankly, I'd be a little worried with the condition they came in.

I'd bump the water to 82 and watch him closely. It's good that he ate yesterday, although it's unusual for a turtle to eat the first day you get him. Maybe the trauma of the move hit him a day late and he's just laying low.

Well Paul said he was covered in Alage because he was housed outside.

Anyway, He only responds when I touch him, and he usually doesn't open his eyes. My mom put him in the water earlier and he swam weakly.

I hadn't set up a basking heat lamp. I'm hoping that was the problem. It is now set up with a 40 Watt bulb about 10 inches from him.

Well Igot a thermometer and I put a 40 Watt about 9 inches away, and it didn't raise the temp. So I put a 75 Watt Incadesant bulb in their, and the temp is like 83 degrees. How should I bring the temp up?

I don't think housing hatchling turtles outside and selling them covered in algae is a sign of a great businessman.
I'm not familiar with this mark, but it sounds like you've got an ill turtle on your hands.
What's his policy? Can you return him or get reimbursed for vet care?

I'd start looking for a qualified herp vet. Sick hatchlings can go downhill VERY fast and you have no idea how long this guy has been ill.

Do you have a water heater? That's the best way to keep the water not only warm, but at a stable temperature. Keeping it at a stable 82 will be a good start to boost his immune system.

If you haven't already done so, I'd separate him from the other new slider. You don't want to take any risks.

Well I have the heater at 79 degrees. I'm going to talk to Paul about what his policy is.

I know of a Herp. Vet around here, If nothing improves, I'll take gim.

I don't know how to split them up, because that would mean I would need another heater, and more Lights.

I know, having one healthy and one ill turtle isn't fun (or cheap)... but it's better than having two ill turtles. I'd buy the second heater and light (just UVA for now), I think it'll be worth it in the long run if you can keep the belize healthy.
Even if it's just a tupperware bin, it's better than being exposed to illness. And if he's left in some quiet it may help the nicaraguan heal faster if no one is pestering him.

Good luck.

Ok thanks. Last night I adjusted the light to 90 degrees, and he woke up and started to eat and swim.

He was like that today as well so I believe it was just a heat issue.

He's still not 100% though, almost.
