The pet name for the mechanical shark in JAWS was Bruce. Lol.

As for the shrimp jello shots, tuna would probably be more appropriate as it is a staple of the great whites diet along with seals.

Some folks suggested I try this for my stubborn RES. A couple of questions, I didn't see the answer to (or clearly enough for me) about this. Calcium supplement vs. cuttlebone. What seems to be the better one? For the calcium suppliment - I'm assuming this isn't referring to the little turtle shape things you can put in their tank. Is it a special kind?

I read that you should only put the size of their head in there? Or is a standard ice cube size ok and they'll bite off small parts.

Thanks
Happy Mommy to a cute little RES named Lego

If you want to add a bit of calcium, use phosphorous-free calcium powder. Cuttlebone has the benefit of them trimming their beaks a little when they eat it. I don't know what size, just make sure it's thawed out a bit. I guess you can cut it up to expidite the process

I used the ingredients as suggested slightly tweaking using less blueberries and less sweet potato and a lot of arugula and green leaf lettuce made about 3 cups of purée then added 1 cup of hot water.
I used 3 packages of gelatin I hope that was enough for 4 cups of this mixture.
I powered into a baking tray which made it about 1.5 cm thick.

Letting it sit now. Then plan to cut into cubes the proper size for my turtle. Then I'll freeze it. I hope this works. Was hoping to make a ton of cubes to avoid making it over and over.

Think it will work?

I don't know much about arugula. This should work, though it might be a bit messy if you use it everyday.

Welp pouring it into a baking tray then using a butter knife after it's turned to a jello works really well currently in freezing state.
Turd doesn't seem to like them :(.
I'm hoping if I under feed him for awhile he will accept them as food. Considering I have about 500 cubes lmao
