Just thought id share. Amazing what a small bite mark can do to a turtle at a young age. When this turtle was a hatchling, my musk turtle hatchling took a small nip at the corner of its shell. As a baby the nip in shell was very small. Really wouldnt notice. Thought id share what it looks like now. As he grows the nip gets wider. Looks like a big turtle came at him and bit his whole corner off now. Just sharing.

I back scute became infected a little, that why its not perfect curve from bite like the front scute that was bit. Constant care of the area kept him good. It healed pretty fast. He never lost any energy.
