but really he lived in that small container for 4 months?!?!?

YUP,YUP i think even longer! He developed a Funges infection on his shell. At times i would think he's hibernating
when i was uneducated about red ear sliders i would even try to wake him up and he would never eat nor move sometimes i felt so bad!!

that turtle on the outside of that tank is thinking: "Damn.....I feel so bad for that overgrown turtle thats too big for that small tank, the dock its standing on, with not alot of water to swim around in and stretch its legs PLUS look at all that cheap gravel at the bottom of the tank. Dnt humans know, we might actually eat it! Man, im just gonna chill out here in the open water."

LMAO :D

All i can really suggest is a new table +more water

and what i mean is ONCE you get a new table..=more water

im not nagging on the water depth haha

and its up to you..maybe some river rocks..plants? for appearance *not needed*

Almost any table would be better than what you have. Try to find one around the house and put any money you have on a future upgrade. Once you do raise the water, you can eliminate the glove -- sooner the better.

Fake plastic plants and a handful of river rock will add a lot of color in there. Just keep an eye out that he doesn't get stuck by the dock or the filter. They like to squeeze themselves into the smallest areas.

Thanks. Steve
just wondering if the gloves would be of any harm??

Because in thinking even with the water level raised to its fullest the water spatxhing nosie will still be relivent but not as much?

Honestly..i have alot of splashing noise in my tank and i have learned to live with it haha

my mom barely notices its making a noise

she said to me "if i heard it 24/7 i would make you turn it off"

it may take a while to get used too..

or maybe have a rock under it so it cuts the drop of the water level?

lol i like your setup personally and you could always lay a towel on your floor and put your tank on their WHEN YOU DECIDE you want to raise the water depth, dnt wanna push it lol thats what i did with my tanks im savin up for a stand so they are on the ground for right now.

I also agree with sir max, if you do get a huge river rock or even a rock you find a in your front yard (mind you, make sure you clean and sanitize it) and put it directly under the waterflow of your filter, it'll DEFINETLY cut down on the noise.
