Are all 5 res in the 55 gal? That's going to be awfully a handful within a year and the type of tank upgrades to house 5 growing RES.

Yea, the tank isn't going to big enough in a year or so, but we have plans to take care of that. Its kind of funny, I've never really had an intrest in turtles, but kelly decided to get some, and I got addicted instanly! I have to say that I really look forward to coming home after work and wacthing our babys! They all have their ow personallity.

So if, I'm doing my math correctly....and I'm pretty sure I am. 8 res, eventually growing to around 8-10 inches, that eventually comes out to around a 720 gallon tank if you strictly follow the 10 gallons per inch rule!!!
Wow, I wouldn't be able to handle that one! :-)

Better make that 720 gallon tank into a pond... that tank would weigh over 6000lbs when full!

The biggest I've ever seen is a 500 gallon tank. You could always end up splitting them.

Yes our plans are to later get another 55 gal tank or a 90 gal. But for right now they will be just fine. They seem to be very happy.
