looks like a pic of a mud turtle i randomly saw somewhere on this site a few days ago.
dont box turtles have hinge on the bottom part of the shell? from the pic it does look liek he has anything like that? (im not sure if all box turtle have that though)

well gl finding out what he is! he looks awesome though

in the last pic the his bottom feet looked little webbed but its hard to tell, if its webbed im assuming its aquatic

The hinge usually develops as the box turtle matures.

If it's a box turtle, he / she can retract into the shell and the shell will hinge shut I believe.....Is the shell hinged?

he looks like that mud turtle that someone had gotten on here recently

Yeah I'm pretty sure now that he's a Florida Box Turtle, his shell has a yellow line going straight down like the pictures on the website Spotsmama posted (Thanx Spotsmama!!!:-D)

So yeah now I wanted to know if anyone can post pictures of tanks for a box turtle, and ideas as well... like what type of dirt or sand should be used, how deep water if any should be... Stuff like that... Any pictures will be appreciated THANX!!! :-D

He is very cute. I am getting in late on this, but I think he looks like a Florida Box Turtle too. There is an area on this site dedicated to boxies and tortises, i bet more knowledgeable people would see it there.
