Recently i have bumped my tank and i have a small crack.

I put some sealant on it and let it dry....and it has been in the tub for 24 hours with water and it hasnt leaked

Its only a 30 gal but i only fill it up half way.

Do you trust sealant to hold the water?

Where is the crack? Silicone does not adhere well to existing silicone, so you could be look at problems shortly.
