You don't need anything, maybe a table if you want to use a canister with it. There are such things called turtle tables that people make with preformed ponds, should be much cheaper to make. A WLT might be great if the turt needs a sandy or dirt section.

^ I always found them cool, but I think they're a little overpriced.

Holy Turtles that is huge! I was wondering about the depth of it all and that just affirmed it for me :D how many DBTs do you have in one of them? And I LOVE your plant that you have in there, what kind is it?

@Steve-- Turtle table? Never heard of that I'm gonna need to do some google, YouTube research ^-^

How many gallons of water is in the medium one you've got there? Do you recommend a good filter for it?

The plants are water hyacinths. Turtles in their was i think 6. This year it was only 2. Really hoping my diamondbacks nest next year so it will be alot. Again just a Dream lol.

Even though 65gallons isnt that much it is big compared to a 75gallon tank. Its about Twice the width, almost twice the length compared to a 75gallon tank. Just doesnt have depth which is about 10inches. Its perfect for breeding pair of turtles though. Low depth so they cant drown, large nesting area.

I'm definetly gonna invest in them, they seem really neat! Every time I go to the pet store their water hyacinths dnt look like that :( is there a way I can order them somewhere online? I for see that you will have a successful breeding year next spring DBT4L you deserve it! I was gonna go to the reptile expo but they come right after I leave for basic training :((
