Hey everyone im new to RES turtles. i have a yr old male hatchling named Pee Wee  , a 2 yr old RES male named olympus  and a 3 yr old Painted western female named scarlett :msgreen: . my scarlett is cting crazy...shes very restless and constantly trying to get away from olympus. i did research and found out shes pregnant. i DO want to take care of the hatchlings and already have homes for them if she lays eggs. now my question is how should i build her nest? i dont want her to get sick bcuz of egg binding. and im VERY broke at the moment. i have less than a dollar to my name right now...how can i build her nest and what should i do to take care of her and the eggs? PLS HELP!! also i have sand and organic compost...i plan on turning my closet into a nest with boxes and stuff...how deep does it need to be and how warm and wet?

Did you actually feel eggs? It's more likely she's being harassed in the tank.

If she's trying to get away from him, then she probably is being harassed. Are there any outdoor locations you can take her?

Best you can do then is fill a container with soil and put the heat lamp to one side of it then put her in. Hopefully she will lay eggs in there. Soil should really moist.
