For me right now, it's my turtle trying to eat his basking rock. What about you?

Two of my females have been "fluttering" at each other. Not entirely strange, but they don't pay any attention to poor Sheldon (the male in the tank).

Try to climb on top of the leaf of lettuce floating in his tank, like it can support his weight.

Ooh I have another one - Whenever I forgot the time for her morning feeding, she'd go up the ATBA and knock her shell on the walls or scratch her claws to let me know she is hungry.

If we take him out for awhile and put him up before he's "ready" to go in, he gets up on his basking dock trying to see if he can just climb back out. Or he throws a hissy fit but swimming back and forth looking at us to please take him back out.

It's kinda sad sometimes = : <

Probably the strangest thing Yertle does is prop himself up awkwardly on his dock. It's really random and half the time I'm thinking "[!!!], why?" But he seems comfortable.

Hahahaha I know he's a thinker. I put him in a shoebox once, and it took him about five minutes to figure out how to hoist himself out. I caught him just as he got halfway out.

Does his shell have shell rot? It looks like white stuff on it in the picture.

My :msgreen: does the same thing whenever she has the chance, that is when she is at my parents', exiled to her plastic box where she has a wooden ramp which my father intended to look just like the Zoomed foam ramp  . She loves to bask on the wood, and even sleeps for hours there!
