Well, my 4 inch turtle, Mrs. Turtle is actually Mr. Turtle. It seems like his claws grew right over night, seeing as how they weren't that long not to long ago. It also helps that I walked in on him getting it on with a rock.

Oh yea, real quick question. If they're red eared x yellow bellied sliders when my other one gets big enough to tell if it's male or female should I look to separate them or could they not reproduce.

There might still be mating regardless if they can reproduce. Males can be aggressive outside of mating.

I know that there will be mating regardless if they can reproduce, I was asking if it's possible for them to reproduce. Hatchling turtles are something I can't really deal with because it's illegal to sell any thing with an RES lineage here. I can give them away if that happens, but I'm not comfortable doing that because I would like them to be properly cared for.

Yes, I believe they can reproduce.
