HEY EVERYONE,

I am a new turtle owner, and my turtle is a red ear slider. It is a baby and very little and cute. I am a 20 year old married mother of one boy. I always have admired turtles and my mom let us children keep one we resuced when we were little. He got attacked by a dog. The vet said if it wasn't for us he would have died. So that is why i have always liked turtles. So now at 20 i am buying my first turtle. Needless to say it has become one of my children. I am in love with him. His name is Tank, and he is a sweetie.

Welcome! I am a new turtle owner as well. I joined about 3 weeks ago. I have learned so much from all of the helpful posts and replies. Good luck with Tank!
Take a moment to look around you. Stand still, close your eyes, and see all the things you've been missing.
