Hi!
I'm new here and I am also new at turtle keeping... I was given a baby red ear as a christmas present! I've very excited about it, but I wish I had know ahead of time so I could have prepared! He is sitting next to me on a plastic climbing rock in his TUPPERWARE container, looking right at me! I do have a heat lamp but I don't even have a water heater so I have been trying to warm up his water alittle with a heating pad under his container. Don't worry, tomorrow when the stores re-open all my christmas money is going to a more permanent home for the little guy! I've been surfing this site to find out what kinds of equipment to pick up...and since I have never kept any herps before, I will be asking lots of questions!!!
