My name is Dale L. Murphy, not to be confused with the Atlanta Braves Baseball Player, and I run Graveside Tales. Graveside Tales is a small press publishing company of horror novels. We even have our first anthology out titled "Fried! Fast Food, Slow Deaths.

Over Christmas my daughter received from her mother 2 RES turles. She named the female - Squirt and the male - Crush from Finding Nemo. She is 15. This is our first turtles. Since we have had them I am amazed I had not discover the wonder of keeping pet turtles.

I have learned a lot since lurking here.

Murph -- Turtles are a lot of fun, after you get over the shock of what they need and the care. They are a lot easier than fish and a lot more fun. It kind of reminds me of the dog chasing the old truck. It was fun until he caught it. There are a lot of folks here that will be glad to help. Start out by reading the stickies. b.
