I am a thirteen year old girl with LOTS of questions. We have 3 RES turtles as class pets. They arrived in our classroom about a 3 days ago. Personally i don't think it was the best choice to get a turtle because our teacher has almost no knowledge on turtles, and didn't plan anything. He is relying mostly on his knowledge of "fish". So, a few of my classmates and I Have noticed that they don't have the best habitat. So we are hoping to find soem information on how to care for RES because we want to give them the best care possible.
We have three RES. One female and two males. The female is about 6 to 7" long. We Have researched other sites and now think she is pregnant. The two males are younger and smaller. They are about 3 to 4.5 " long. They are doing better then the female at the moment.
