Hello all. As it says, I got a surprise for Xmas. I have named her Sheba and I am already overwhelmed by the amount of information I need to know. As with most, I know I need a bigger tank already. From what I've read I'm already scared I will: Overfeed, starve, or not give the right balance of nutrients. What a learning process!!

Welcome Sheba's mom. :)
Well....turtles are actually pretty sturdy little critters but there is a lot you need to know.
They're worth it though!

Ha, my daughter thought since I like turtles so much I would enjoy a live one. With all the reading I've been doing in the last several days I realize all the things she generously set up for me are not really whats recommended. I am excited about the prospect though.
