Our little one's name is Chester. He/She actually belongs to my daughter but I have taken to him/her just as much if not more. Chester is still quite young, only about 1 1/2". He/she was given to my daughter from a friend of hers who found Chester in a sack of crawfish during last crawfish season (Spring 2005). Anyhow, we have Chester in a 20-gallon aquarium with no other critters. He has the tank all to himself. Thanks to all the great information on this site, I think I have everything to keep that little smile on Chester's cute face. The water temperature is kept at about 77 degrees. The filter stays running 24/7. We have a floating dock attached to the side, opposite side of the filter, complete with UVA and UVB lights. At the bottom of the tank are medium-sized rocks (bigger than his head), artificial plants, and a rock formation thing that he can hide behind if he needs to. We feed him (or her) turtle sticks, just about 3 per day. It's so cute to see how he gobbles them up! So far, so good! I will try to send some pics soon if I can figure out how.

Good day!
