I had to change my user name from walcks3 to The3walcks. We moved and got new internet. I am proud to say that I still have Kermie and he ( or she ) is growing good. I had him to the vet because I thought he might of been getting a respritory infection. She did a physical on Kermie and said he was great. She had a little trouble trying to look at him and observe him swimming. She would put him down or in the water and he just sat there, wouldn't move or swim. She came out and told me that she really couldn't tell too much because he wouldn't move. I asked her if I could come back and see if he will do it with me there. The big baby had to have his mommy! He was running across that table to get too me and would follow me where ever I went and he was swimming too. The vet just loved it. Kermie is still in the 55 gallon tank, still has alot of room to grow. I want to redo his tank since the vet said he was still to little to tell what he was yet but if she had to guess she said a girl. What I came up with is that I want to take plexi glass and glue it down to divide the tank so there is a part that is larger. In the bigger part put the water and in the smaller section put sand and dirt whatever they like to dig in and he can bask out there too. I saw this is a book, I was looking for ideas so I looked through book after book till I found that. When I get it done I will post pictures. Well just wanted to say hi and that Kermie is doing great. I am trying to get some new pictures but they all have turned out bad. I am going to keep trying.
