hello good people, i've been lurking these forums for a couple of days now and have found a lot of helpful information on RES. my friend gave me two RES before he moved out to LA and they came in one of those little tubs (the ones with the fake plastic palm trees) so the first thing i did is went to the nearest pet store and purchase a lamp for them to bask under and sufficient tank for them live in until these little guys start getting much bigger. the turtles are so much happier now. this is my first time taking care of semi-aquatic reptiles, but it's already turning out to be a great deal of fun. i love watching these guys bask and eat while i paint and draw.

cheers.

Greetings! What are your turtles' names? You sound like an artist. There are a couple of artists on here. You'll fit right in! And you are right, turtles are very theraputic.

yes i love pastel too. i dont have much experience with paint, although whenever i do one it turns out very nice...that is if i finish it. i get bored and move on. i also like prisma color portraits. i just like the control that drawing gives me. besides, my drawings win contests, my paintings never get finished to be entered!
