Hoping your site is for fun and frolic, and not intended as a means of providing insightful turtle care.
I checked out the site. While it seems to be categorized, the content is still like other social media sites - linear and stuck with the 'the topic of the moment'
More than happy to join the fun, but...
Facebook is called "social media" for a reason...social discussion, not educational.
When it comes to finding topic-specific input, I will take a forum over Facebook any day!
