Hi!
I am new to this website and cant wait to read all the advice you guys have to share about keeping turtles!
Franklin is my beloved red eared slider. My mom brought him home from work in a salad container when i was 2 and we've had him ever since.
Franky is now 22 years old!
The reason i've joined this site is im about to embark on a big project! im making a summer vacation spot for him at my cottage and will definitely need all the advice i can get! I want to build him a big outdoor pond where he can enjoy summer, instead of being cooped up inside.
Cant wait to get involved!

How much water do you have in that tank?

In the tank in the picture he was staying at a friends house so im not sure how much water is there. right now there is about 8 inches of water.

You want to try to fill the tank to the top, the little guys love to swim

Frankie also looks like a female. I would consider a stock tank (probably 150-300 gallons) as starters.
