Hello from Boston MA. Max has celebrated her 51st birthday this spring. Max has been a life long companion to her keeper since he was 10 years old. Selected for her speed and vivaciousness from a pack of turtles at the dime store based on what little a 10 year old knows she has remained a loyal friend through the years. While slowing down her pace from her youthful years Max continues to enjoy walks around the living room and basking in the sun in the yard during the summer months. She would like to spend winters in Florida but has to settle for a warm spot next to the heater here in New England. She is starting to have some health issues that the vet is unable to diagnosis as they see so few turtles of her age but she remains strong and in good spirits.
Welcome to the forum! I am interested in making note of the differences between the turtle sages (like yours) and my little teenage turtle.
