Hi my name is Mindy i have owned my res for a little over 2 years now we got him at a flea market in FL we origanaly bought 2 but one didnt make it . I have been reading the forums here for the past 2 days and i have all sorts of new ideas to make Nickles habitat a much better place to live. I needed new ideas since we now have a few more turtles in the mix. We now have 4 new Painted turtles 2 hatchilings and 2 biger ones im hoping we have some girls and some boys so we can have babies eventually i want to have a turtle pond in my back yard cuz turtles are so fun to watch i love it when the babies climb up on the back of the bigger ones its so cute.

I would love to see some pics of all the set ups that you have for these guys! Sounds like you have a zoo.

Just so that you are aware, most people on here aren't in favor of breeding turts, especially RES, because they are already overbred, and becoming a problem.

I only have one RES so i dont think we will have babie RES turtles unless they can cross breed lol
