yep the verry same one. He just finsihed fully from the vitimin defency an the pitting in his shell now he's got this problem :S.
He's soaking himself in his water in the superman pose stead of comming all the way up onto teh dry area now, like he did before when he had the vitimin defency. maybe i am just gettin worried over nothin an the vet will give him a clean bill of health or it will just be somethin minor. But i always have to imagine the worst possible senario when i go into see a vet for somethin like this that way I am prepared for either good or bad news.

LadyBloodRose, how's it going now? If you don't have diagnosis yet and are still concerned, thought I'd let you know that internal parasites (particularly round worms) can sometimes cause a turtle to throw up. It should be pretty easy to check for something like that.

i've seen his poo it looked normal to me, but it thougth about worms to :S. The vet vist is tomarrow just hope its not commin to late for him. He's been ok movin around a bit, he'll go down into the water a short ways on his basking rock then come back up an sit under the heat an uv light. He still hasn't eat even tried enticing him with some chicken last night an it was a no go.
He's at least drinking which I am happy about so he's keeping himself hydrated.
I wish that vet was in town more then just 1 day a week -_- its ridicilous, an hes only here for lil over an hour!!!

feeling a lil beter i think but its hard to judge. He was more then willin to threaten to bite at me then he was at the vet, when she held him all he would do was stay tucked in tight to his shell..

I'ma try an feed him later after it warms up a bit outside i'ma take him out for some uv to.
Poor lil guy.. He his shell looks so dry :S. I told the vet, that up till sunday he was lookin so prety, his shell was vibrant! An he was even getin ready to go trhew a scute shed! Now he looks so dry :S

You're doing the right thing, threatening to bite you is a good sign that he's responsive. I think that after the antibiotics the infection should be gone for good, just make sure the temperature doesn't fluxuate, it becomes hard to keep it steady if you live in a cold climate. Having powerful heaters helps to keep it steady, although I don't know if you're climate is cold since you're taking him out for UV. ^^

I'm in ga, winter is never a certain thing here! Even fall can seem like summer sometimes an the nights be freezing!

It was prety chilly this morning till the sun got up nice, an it warmed up enoughf or him to stay outside on the picknick table for about n hour before the shade took over from our pourch.

I haven't tried to feed yet, might later to see how intrested he is if at all

I'm sorry! It's so sad when turtles die. You really gave him a fighting shot at the end, but sometimes hatchlings are just too delicate.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. You gave him the best chance he could have had. He just had too many problems to overcome them all.
