Hello Everyone & thank you for all the advice for Squashi. Here is the update.

I took her to the vet to find out she does not have a RI. (thank god) but she does have a Vitamin A Def. They told me that I would have to change her diet, which I have, but here are the new problems. I do not think that she is eating and I think it's because her eyes are swollen shut. What can i do about her eyes?

What kind of UVB Light are you using. If it is a 10.0 bulb it might explain the swollen eyes.

IF!! -- she does not RI I would suggest that you check your uvb bulb/tube and make sure it is not too strong. While you are checking that I would make sure the water is super clean and do the eye drops and keep them moist with the drops. The eyes are exposed to mostly water and light.

By any chance do you know where I would be able to find the eye drops? And about the water, do you have any sugesstions on what filter i should use or any types of water conditioners?

How many gallons is your tank? You could get the turtle eye drops at Petsmart, or Petco.

I have a tall 25 gallon tank and as far as petco goes they do not have the drops. I'll try petsmart.

I use Reptisafe water conditioner.

In stores around here.....it's usually found pretty close to the eye drops. I hope you can find em.

ilo-ven 83 Your turtle should have at least 10 gallons per inch of turtle shell.
In suggesting a filter/pump, my recommedation would be canister pump that would exchange the water in your tank at least 5 times per hour. If you have 25 gallons to pump per hour, you will need a125 gph to get up to the
exchange you will need. With you turtle with swollen eyes I think you will need to clean the tank everyday until you get the eye problem taken care of.

iloveny833, if your turtle can't see the food, he won't eat. Have you tried holding a bit of it under his nose (but in the water)? Try something smelly--a bit of tuna or sardine, for example. For pellets, try to get the scent of the tuna or sardine on them--soak them briefly in the water or rub some of the food on the pellets. Be patient and see if he eventually tries to eat it.

You can find the eyedrops at petsmart, that's where I got mine. They are zoomed brand.
You could also use cod liver oil for the vitamin A deficiency, just don't use both the oil and the drops together.
