Have you searched the forums for similar situations? yes

Is there any other unusual activity/symptoms? My turtle recently (last Thursday or Friday) laid her first eggs. She was acting weird before, not eating, basking a lot, looking depressed, which is when we started giving her nesting options both natural outside and man-made(She opted for man-made, a mix of soil, sand, compost, and dirt from our garden with some dandelions planted in it). She perked up for a few days after she laid her eggs, but the past two days she hasn't been eating as much as normal and has basked a lot. She has been stretching her neck out and laying her head down on her basking platform which she doesn't usually do. And tonight when I told her it was bedtime and turned her light off she stayed laying with her head on the platform for almost an hour, when she usually goes straight in to the water for a swim before going to sleep. When she finally got in the water about an hour ago she seemed perkier, so I fed her a little bit and watched her swim to make sure she wasn't tilt-y, since that's a major symptom of RI. She's swimming fine. But then she laid flat on the bottom of her tank with her legs stretched out, which is unusual behavior for her.I just checked on her and she was stretched out with her nose just poking out of the water, the way she usually sleeps. I'm just worried about her. Is this normal behavior after laying eggs? She hasn't had any problems up until now.

I wouldn't say it's normal behavior after laying eggs but I don't really see anything alarming. I would keep a very close eye on her over the next few days though. Was this her first clutch?

I think she'll be fine. Have you tried feeling for more eggs? How many eggs did she lay?

She has perked up the past two days and seems to be herself again.
