Urgent Care :: RES rapidly moving at tub edge

just a few days ago, my RES is scratching and trying to get out of it's tube. i just ignored it cause that's what it's been doing once i change the tub's water.
since a few days ago, it scratches and rapidly swims at the tub's wall, stops for a while then does it again.
does it want a bigger tub ?.
btw, since i got it it's 2 years old
but now it's doing it more frequently. is Chug, my RES sick or something. pls reply quick , should i consult the vet

How many turtles do you have? Is the tub clear or colored? Do you have a basking area? Is he still eating? Any other symptoms?

Do you know how old it was Before you got it? If it was at least 1 year old when you got it, and if it's around 5", then it could be a female with eggs. Yes, they can have/lay eggs without a mate.

i have 2 turtles. 1 is kept outdoors all the time. while i keep the other outdoors in the morning, change the water at night and bring him indoors.
both of the turtles tubs have color. the one kept outdoors is colored blue and chug's tub is colored green.
yes, another issue is that whenever i go to clean the tubs. at times they have this red color sticking on it. i scrub it off.
this red color is also appears on the belly which i wipe off.
i don know if they eat the turtle food which i throw in. cause i just leave them alone.
in the mornings i leave them together for about 20 mins in the sun. then put them back in the water.

Can you post any pictures of your turtles (especially when you find that red coloration) as well as their setups?
