I have a baby turtle as well and I am very concerned because he is not eating right and his shell seems to be getting very soft. Which is different from when I got him. It seemd really firm. I tried to soak his food in tuna juice to lure him into eating it and he doesnt. I dont but rarely see him swimming. I would like to know if all these things are ok or if his shell being soft should concern me.

Hmm, Your turtle may be scared, As they may not eat for a few days, What kind of set-up do you have? And his shell may be soft because I assume you don't hae a UVB light. You need a UVB light ASAP.

How long have you had him? How much softer has the shell become since you first got him? Does the shell look healthy?

What have you been feeding him?

What's the temp of the water and basking area?
