My thought is pneumonia. Years ago my baby stopped basking, ate very little, started blowing bubbles then started to swim sideways and stopped eating all together. If you listened very closely you could hear her wheezing. I did some research on the web and found they are very subceptable to pneumonia. Fortunately my regular vet treats reptiles. Brought her in, she was started on 1 injection of antibiotics every other day for 6 days. With the 2nd shot on board she started to eat and bask and swim all the good things turtles do. You really have to be careful of the water temperture, especially when they are babies. I swear the hardest part of the whole ordeal was giving her the shot yikes she was only the size of a quarter. I hope the vet seriously takes in account the pneumonia because it can be fatal if not caught on time. Good Luck!
