What have you been trying to feed it? ----lettuce, shrimp, pellets
When was the last time your turtle ate? ----a week ago :(

Is the tank near a window? ----yes
Is the tank in a room with a lot of activity?---no

Have you read the Basic Care section? ---abit of it
Have you searched the forums for similar situations?----yes

Is there any other unusual activity/symptoms? ----She hasnt been eating lately, and awhile ago i posted that she was inside her shell alot. We saw one of our turtles vibrating its arms infront of her today, and we got a little shocked. We researched about turtle pregnancy, and we're afraid that LittleBeckham (name of my turtle) might have a broken egg. She stays near the bottom of the tank and shes not really active.

Today we were afraid she was constipated and let her stay in a tub of warm water, while letting her stay in there, we found a little gooey liquid come out of her tail. We're not sure if thats an egg-yolk thing from the egg. We're trying to contact a vet now, but so far we need to wait till tomorrow. We havent booked an appointment yet.

Was she pregnant? I didnt realize her trying to get out of the tank a few weeks ago, or constantly trying to dig with her hind legs.
Do you think she was pregnant and broke her eggs, or something else?

Please help, im very worried.

At 4", are you sure your turtle is a female? My male RES will sometimes release some liquid from his cloaca if he's been out of water for some time and it might have a bit of yellow to it. The vibrating arms does not necessarily mean they have mated and that she is gravid.

Im not 100% if shes a female, but the gooey liquid was the colour of white/clear. If she has not been pregnant and perhaps lost an egg, what might it have been?
