Well, I talked with the vet & he said the best thing to do was to just let him pass peacefully. He barely moves when you touch one of his legs & he won't open his eyes.

Yea, with injuries like that he's probably got massive internal damage. Poor guy. It's nice of you to take him in and give him a quiet safe place to go.

He must be in alot of pain, your his hero =), what are you planning to do when he gets better

If he's wildlife and you brought him to a vet, they could put him out of his misery rather than just let him lie in what sounds like pain until he goes on his own...

Aww, I'm so sorry to hear about the turtle. It's such a shame to see turtles who have met with cars...cheers to you for giving him a peaceful place to rest. Even though it's looking grim for him, I pray for him to pull through.

yea i agree that kind of injuries must of really damages things internally. they should really put him out of his misery like Marisa said because it must be very painful.

maybe they should put him down so he doesn't suffer anymore. poor thing. you did all you could.

Well, He's out of his misery. I went to check on him when I got up & I could tell he was gone. We buried him in a deep hole so nothing could dig him up behind our house.
