Well their names are awesome...lol and perfect because my gf has 2 red eared sliders as well... one is 23 years old and the other about 3. their names are Michaelangelo and Raphael haha. So... naturally I had to name mine Donatello and Leonardo.

Oh by the way... My biggest turtle measures out to 8 inches long. (Shell)

ALso, there is a good possibility they are older than two years. When i got them they were maybe 1.5 - 2 inches big (Shell) but I recently found out they were kept in a VERY small container/box with no light for a while .. Not sure how long... but they do not grow without light and a bigger habitat right?


So maybe this is why they grew so fast it seems?

Their habitat will not restrict their growth, but definitely try to control how much pellets/protein they get.
