With the turtle jello shots I usually don't add any sort of protein, just veggies, they keep longer that way and I don't have to worry about accidentally feeding rancid food. The pellets will provided a safer source of protein.

Also, Im shopping for a really reliable/safe tank heater as mine is gettting older. Freds regular home is appx. 70-80 gal indoor pond set up but I have him in a 25 gal tank for close observation right now so it would be good to be able to use the heater in both tanks. Would a 200w Jager like yours be a good choice??
Currently waiting on xrays getting to herp vet on a disc as email didn't show enough detail. Freds still pretty lethargic but hoping he will go for the jello shots again later today. I froze them so will try partially thawed one.
Today is a sad day.
