hmm I do have a microwavable heating pad that I will probably put around the carrier. If I take the subway it should take like 30 minutes, but I will probably end up taking a cab for my turtles sake.

how much are herp vet visits on average? the only available vet I could find ended up being $65. :/

The only times I took Spot to see a vet the cost was $60 or $70 I believe, but I'm in Texas and the vet didn't really know anything about my turtle, so I don't think my experience is relevant.
