okay so the vet was today and so on and so forth. my friend kim an i watched dr.briggs cut open bills ears and dig out some white rock hard puss looking stuff. it was grosss. so then after seeing turtle blood ( :( ) myself and bill had enough and the surgery was over. bill is now being dry docked and misses swimming with this best friend ted very much. oh and the bill for the whole thing? $321.27 thank goodness for tax returns.

 Poor Bill! Did he give him any anesthetic? drugs? booze? something??

That's good that he's back home and on his way to recovery. Yea, vet bills are expensive. Too bad there's no health insurance for pets. :(

yes, anesthetic on both ears, and an antibiotic shot in the butt. there is pet insurance, i have no idea who carries it but the vet office has signs up everywhere that say show us your pet insurance card first blah blah blah. i wonder what the copay is...

I'm going to repeat what DavidY said - Poor Bill. What an ordeal. I sure hope he gets better soon. Sounds like he really needed the treatment. It's good that you took him in right away as soon as you knew he had a problem.

It's good you got him treated. He needed no antibiotics?
