koch, if picking up live worms is what it takes to get your turtle to eat, then that's what I'd do. Buy some thin plastic/latex gloves if you don't want to touch them. Bloodworms I've seen are all really small (and I don't think I've seen live ones, but maybe you have them where you are). You should be able to get them at aquarium stores. You could also try cut-up earthworms (get somebody to cut one up if you can't).
You need to keep the water warm (81-82F = 27-28C, I think). If the water is too cool, your turtle won't/can't eat.
Please don't just wait and "see what happens"...
