Ok a few wks ago one of tortarita's shell pleurals scraped off. And I mean the whole thing I dont know it it was loose and she snaged it on something of she scatched it off but the entire pleural came off. Now about 2 wks later it's turned white. It's like one of her scales on her shell (pleural) is white while the rest are green. It's like it's healing itself, but it looks weird and it's worrying me. I'll try posting a pic ASAP is this normal???? :( :( :(

That looks pretty bad to me. I think it's fungus...

well it doesn't smell funny, at least that's what they say a sign of a fungus is... And it feels smooth and doesn't come off with a toothbrush. It's like it healed over the white stuff. If it's like a scab thin it could just be pus created by the body to seal out water???? :? any idea??

What was it like when the scute came off? Did it bleed?

Fungal/Yeast infections don't normally have an odor to it. No odor is a good thing, is it soft in any way? Can you tell if the scute below is healthy?

That white was what the scute looked like after it shed? It looks like it could shed again. It's not soft at all? What is that crusty-looking area at the top if it?
