My 4 yr old male slider has a huge sack hanging out of his butt. I think he's at his "peak" but it's been hanging out for one week an I;m getting a little worried. Should I take it to the vet??

It's about two inches long and is kind of blackish/grey with a white sack at the end.

It's been out for one week straight?
If that's the case it sounds like a prolapse and you'll need to see a vet.

Could be his organ or a prolapse. Either way, a week is too long for it to be out of his body---he needs to see a herp vet.
