Do a search on "shell" or "white shell" in the Urgent Care and General Care sections and see if you can find a photo of a shell that looks like yours.

The powder that you soaked the turtles in (Sulfa Turtle Dip) is not very strong and wouldn't be effective for any serious problem. There are some much more effective medications, most of which are available only by prescription from a vet.

You need some serious habitat upgrades, but we can talk about that after you find pictures of the shells that look like yours.

There are some questions on a sticky at the top of this section (Urgent Care). Please copy them here and answer them. We need more info to be able to help you. Also, please be as specific and thorough as you can in the description of your turtles' behavior. It's kind of hard to tell from your post exactly what's going on.

First off, calm down....white on the shells isn't necessarily harmful for turtles & before you jump to any conclusions, do what spotsmama said. If you can post a picture of another turtle with the same problem, that will help us help you better.

Also, in terms of eating, make sure you read the feeding section in the basic care area of the redearslider website for some suggestions on how to entice eating.
